Among Her Sea Friends

Lehua's silver tail glistened
like diamonds in moonlight
...her hair spilled around
like lilac seaweed silk.
She twirled green limu
strands to her bottlenose
dolphin and monk seal
friends in playful greeting.
Humpback mama and
 baby whale plunged
over in a rolling wake.
“Peace to you,
small ones...”
